Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the website https://sunnysweepers.com (the “Service”) operated by Sunny Sweepers (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By using this website to book a service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please refrain from booking a service.

1. Booking Confirmation

Filling out the service request form does not guarantee a confirmed booking for the selected date and time. After receiving your submission, the service provider will reach out to you via phone, email, or text for confirmation. You may be asked to reschedule for a different time.

2. Service Providers

Sunny Sweepers is not the employer of the domestic worker referred to you. The domestic worker may be your employee or an independent contractor depending on the relationship you have with him or her. If you direct and control the manner and means by which the domestic worker performs his or her work you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and workers’ compensation.

The service providers that we partner with may include owner-operators, teams, or referral agencies, depending on the business. All service providers are vetted and held accountable for their actions to ensure high standards of service and professionalism.

3. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to deny or terminate services for any safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, hazardous conditions, or if utilities (e.g., electricity, water) are disconnected. If a service provider feels unsafe or the work environment is unsuitable, they may choose to leave the site, and the cancellation policy will apply.

4. Safety and Preparation

To ensure safety and efficiency, please ensure that the area to be serviced is accessible and prepared for the work to be done (i.e. clutter put away or off to the side to allow cleaners space to clean the home). Cleaners are NOT responsible for clutter cleanup or junk removal. Cleaners will only lift up to 20lb for safety purposes. If the service requires moving heavy items or accessing hard-to-reach areas, please make arrangements ahead of time.

5. Pets and Animals

We are happy to work around pets. However, for the safety of both pets and our service providers, if a pet presents a risk or behaves aggressively, the provider has the right to leave the site. If this happens, our cancellation policy will apply. A $20 fee will be added per dog and/or per cat, per household to account for the added time it takes to clean shedded pet hair.

6. Service Fees

Quoted prices are based on standard conditions. However, if the actual work site differs from what was expected (e.g., additional work required or the site is in a more difficult condition), the service provider will contact you to discuss potential price adjustments.

7. Payments

Payments for services are due upon completion, unless otherwise specified. We may place a hold on your credit card 48 hours prior to the booking to ensure sufficient funds are available, however, payment will not be charged until after the service is completed.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds are not offered; however, if there is an error in the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will discuss potential resolutions to the issue.

9. Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide sufficient notice or inability to access the site will result in a cancellation fee, up to the full value of the service.

If notification of cancellation is received within 24 to 48 hours of the booking, the cancellation fee will be reduced to only $100.

Cancellations within 24 hours (including same day cancellations) will be charged full price of the booking.

Please Note:

  • If the cleaner arrives to the cleaning with no way to enter the home, full price will be charged.

  • If the cleaner is able to enter the home but does not have access to utilities (e.g. electricity, water), the cleaner will not be able to complete the cleaning and full price will still be charged.

  • If a client cancels an appointment during the performance of the cleaning service, or if they request the Cleaner to leave the home, the Client will be charged for the full amount of the booking.

10. Liability and Breakage

While the cleaners make every effort to avoid damage or breakage during service, Sunny Sweepers and the assigned cleaning providers are not liable for damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper installation, or unlisted fragile items. Additionally Sunny Sweepers is not liable for damage caused by the assigned cleaners who are independent contractors with Sunny Sweepers.

11. Access to the Service Location

Ensure that the service location is accessible on the scheduled day. If the service provider is unable to access the location, we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot reach you within 30 minutes of arrival, the service will be skipped, and the full service fee will be charged.

12. Non-Solicitation of Service Providers

By booking a service, you agree not to directly hire any of our service providers or employees for similar services within one year (365 days) of their engagement with you.

13. Links to Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Sunny Sweepers.

Sunny Sweepers has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Sunny Sweepers shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

14. Governing Law

Any claims arising from or related to this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state or province in which the services are provided, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United States without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

15. Accounts & Intellectual Property

When you create an account with Sunny Sweepers, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

‍You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Sunny Sweepers and its licensors.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

17. Changes to These Terms

Sunny Sweepers reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
